Solution:
As I was typing my cover page for my dissertation, it took my four attempts to get the perfect text as I was using a typewriter and which to my frustration does not have an apple z key. At this point I was fascinated with the amount of mistakes one can make whilst typing, but in this day and age it is not even acknowledged thanks to modern technology. I kept the pages of mistakes that everyone disregards. The typewriter was my tool I used which showed my mistakes, and could not let me undo or apple z like my apple Macintosh keyboard.
I decided to write about arguably three of the most famous mistaken inventions, penicillin, coca-cola and the tea bag. These three inventions formed the three chapters of the book of mistakes, the first chapter took thirty-six attempts, the second chapter took four attempts and the third chapter took only two attempts. I guess I definitely learnt from my mistakes, I feel the order I made the mistakes are important hence this is the order the book is in. I also recorded this process on DVD, watching the film back is pretty entertaining and the beauty of watching the whole fifty minute long film is without typing a word the viewer shares the same frustration I did in making the film and book.
